Canungra-based programs include Kangas, a drop-off early childhood program for toilet-trained children aged 3–5, and Family Connections, a nature-based playgroup for children of all ages with a parent or carer participating. Canungra Pool

This seasonal aquatic facility has a heated 25-metre outdoor pool, toddler play pool and children’s play area. Scenic Rim Libraries – Canungra children’s programs

Scenic Rim Regional Council – Canungra parks and playgrounds

DJ Smith Park provides play equipment, picnic tables, electric barbecues and public toilets. Moriarty Park combines play equipment with a basketball half court, skate park, picnic shelters, exercise equipment and a managed sports ground. Tiny Tots Park and Springleigh Park also have play equipment.

Stand Well Physio & Rehab

This visiting NDIS provider includes Canungra in its Scenic Rim service area. Physiotherapy, exercise physiology and occupational therapy can be delivered through home or community visits, including support for children with developmental conditions. Agency-managed, plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants are accepted.

headspace Beaudesert

Young people aged 12–25 can seek help in nearby Beaudesert for mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drug concerns, or work and study issues. Calling to arrange an initial appointment is preferred, although walk-ins are accepted. Some services are bulk-billed with a Medicare card and Mental Health Care Plan.

Triple P – Positive Parenting Program

Queensland parents and carers of children up to 18 can access free parenting support through seminars, workshops, individual consultations and self-paced online courses. Families can search the Queensland program site for available providers and current sessions.

YFS – Children’s Counselling

YFS provides counselling across the Scenic Rim for children aged 18 and under who have experienced domestic and family violence. Parents and carers may contact the Children’s Counselling team directly. Professional referrals are accepted after a discussion about suitability.

Family and Child Connect

Families, relatives and young people can call 13FAMILY (13 32 64) for links to support with parenting, relationships, money, housing, health care and other community needs. The Queensland service connects callers with their closest team, and visits may be arranged at home or another mutually convenient, safe place.

Carer Gateway

Unpaid carers—including parents and relatives caring for someone with disability, illness, a mental health condition or frailty—can access Australian Government support. Depending on assessment and eligibility, options may include counselling, coaching, peer support, tailored packages and planned or emergency respite.
